ICRF: seven killed in special operation in Semender

Bodies of five suspected militants have been found in the place of a special operation in the Dagestani village of Semender. During the fight, two riot police agents were killing and six more were wounded, as the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the spokesman of the Department for Dagestan of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

According to power agents, members of the illegal armed formation (IAF) took refuge in a bunker built under the house. The shooting continued on March 22. During the special operation, Magomedkhabib Magomedaliev, the chairman of the district assembly of the Untsukul District of Dagestan, disappeared.

Now, the special operation is over; the site is studied by the investigatory team, said a source from the local investigatory authorities.

The liquidated suspected militants are identified. "We found three submachine guns, two Stechkin and two PM (Makarov) pistols there," said a source from the ICRF.
