Ovannisyan's supporters collect signatures in his support

In Yerevan, in Freedom Square, supporters of Raffi Ovannisyan, the leader of the faction "Heritage" have held a rally and announced collection of signatures in support of the ex-presidential candidate.

During the rally, Armen Martirosyan, the deputy chairman of the faction "Heritage", urged everyone to join the action, read the text of the appeal, which is asked to sign in support of Ovannisyan.

"I, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, welcome the fight of the president-elect Raffi Ovannisyan for establishment of the people's victory and national revival. I am ready to support Raffi Ovannisyan in his fight and am ready to take part in the inauguration of the new Armenia, scheduled for April," the appeal says.

In total, the rally, held on March 15, was attended by several thousand people, who shouted "Victory!" and "Raffi is President!'

Raffi Ovannisyan himself is treating the fight against the current power as the "struggle of the entire nation." "I assure you that from now people will not make a single step without me; and vice versa, I'll not make a single step without the people," said Raffi Ovannisyan.
