Sochi: rights defenders try to establish whereabouts of detained citizens of Uzbekistan

Human rights activists in Sochi are busy to figure out the location of five detained citizens of Uzbekistan, who are criminally prosecuted after the mass brawl on November 5.

On November 12, the first group of 82 participants of the conflict was sent to places of their permanent residence. However, five Uzbek citizens, against whom criminal cases were initiated, serve their 10-day administrative arrests.

Semyon Simonov, an activist of the Sochi network "Migration and Law" of the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial", reports that they were able to establish the detainees as Yuldashev, V. S., Rakhmanov, A., Nabiev, M. M., Dedakhanov, M. R., and Mamatov, B.

Earlier, three of the Uzbek detainees had complained of torture. However, their exact whereabouts are still unknown.
