47 families in Krymsk who lost their dwellings as a result of the flood got keys to new flats

On November, 8, 47 families in Krymsk who lost their dwellings as a result of the flood of July, 6 and 7, were handed keys to new flats. All of them will settle in a nine-storey house in Proletarskaya street in the center of the town which is part of “Nadezhda” (”Hope”) dwelling complex specially built for the victims of the flood.

165 people perished as a result of the flood of July, 6 and 7, in Krasnodar region. Valuation committees officially acknowledged 1719 houses where 5962 persons lived totally destroyed. Krymsk district was injured most of all. The Administration of the region offered the people whose houses were unfit for restoration two variants of compensation: either ready flats or social payments on purchasing dwellings.

The flats the people are receiving are equipped with all the necessary things: a table, chairs and a modern gas-stove in the kitchen, a gas meter, a refrigerator and washing machine ready for use in the maintenance unit of every flat. There are entrance door intercoms in the house.

According to the authorities, all the houses in the micro-district are built in areas up to 8 points seismicity and protected from submergence. A kindergarten for 108 children is currently being built there. The builders promise to put it in commission by next April. The problem with transport is already settled: it is available every 10 minutes from seven in the morning. The children are taken to school by a special bus.

By November, 15, 370 more families who suffered from the flood will move to multistory houses in “Nadezhda” micro-district, “Yuga.ru” reports.

“Now there will be house-warmings every day and the complex will be totally filled by November, 15”, ITAR-TASS quotes representative of regional Administration Galina Smenshikova.
