Leader of “Mehkh-Khel” was summoned to the police of Ingushetia for a four-hour talk

On November, 4, Head of “Mehkh-Khel” regional civil movement Idris Abadiev was invited to Nazran municipal Department of Interior Affairs for a talk that lasted about four hours.

Leader of “Mehkh-Khel” movement himself told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent that about one o’clock in the afternoon policemen came to his house and told him that he was invited to Nazran municipal Department of Interior Affairs. Idris Abadiev went there in his car together with his relative.

“Chiefs of this unit of the Ministry of Interior Affairs Nokha Tsechoev and Aslanbek Dudarov talked to me, - Abadiev said. – The only thing they were interested in was whether we, members of “Mehkh-Khel”, violated the law by our actions. Evidently, the reason for this talk was the events of the last several days. I answered that we had always acted and would act within legal boundaries, so, they should not provoke us into inadequate acts”.

The leader of “Mehkh-Khel” reminded the officials of municipal Department of Interior Affairs of Nazran that mass hunger strike was held without any violations of the law or public order. “We held our hunger strike in a private house and neither hindered anybody nor violated the law. It was just further actions of law enforcement bodies that violated human rights”, he declared.

Idris Abadiev set the incident with Musa Abadiev who according to his data, was laid on the floor with handcuffs on and beaten up with the buttstock of a gun as an example of abuse of authority by the police personnel.

According to him, the talk in the police department lasted almost four hours. “When I came out of the building I saw a crowd of my supporters from among our civil movement who gathered near Nazran municipal Department of Interior Affairs. There were no disturbances. The people were just waiting for the end of my talk with the officials of Nazran municipal Department of Interior Affairs”, Abadiev said.
