Alexey Kravets evicted from his house in Sochi reports theft of his belongings

On October, 31, resident of Sochi Alexey Kravets appealed to the police reporting theft of his belongings that remained in the place of his house pulled down for construction of an Olympic object.

When on October, 31, Alexey Kravets and his son returned to the place of their pulled down house where their belongings remained they saw a truck with a vehicle identification number “N0102U”, 55th region, carrying part of their property away.

“I tried to ask where they were carrying our things to. The driver gunned his car and escaped. I only had time to shoot the vehicle identification numbers and the car with our belongings on the camera and called the police. My statement of theft was accepted”, Alexey Kravets said. By his estimation, the damage inflicted on him made 150 thousand rubles.

The personnel of Adler district Department of Interior Affairs confirmed to our correspondent that Alexey Kravets’ statement in connection with the incident was accepted and an inspection would be carried out within 10 days.

Alexey Kravets also said that the officials of Department for protection of the family and childhood had no desire to go into his problems.

“On October, 31, I and my son appealed to the Department for protection of the family and childhood asking to protect my son’s right for dwellings. Ara Sarkisyan, Head of the section for protection of the rights and interests of the underage refused to look into the matter explaining that the Department had no right to protect the families concerning whose eviction there was already a decision of the court. In this case I cannot understand the functions of this Department and its officials at all”, Kravets said.

Talking to our correspondent Ara Sarkisyan remarked that in his opinion, Alexey Kravers and his son should ask for dwellings or appeal to the maneuver fund of the Committee of property because this organization had dwelling funds in its disposal.

At present Alexey Kravets and his son live in a building trailer of the guards who sheltered then in the building site near their pulled down house.
