Yunus-Bek Evkurov: I promise to everyone, who comes with peace to surrender, to protect his rights

Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of Ingushetia, again called on members of the armed underground to come to surrender and promised "to provide everyone, who would come with peace to surrender, with all conditions and to protect his rights." He left his mobile phone number in his blog for those persons, who would like to contact him after his offer.

"I ask everyone, who chose the path of terror and violence, everyone, who got involved in terrorism, to realize its malignity, to stop illegal activities, to stop killing and to do wickedly," Yunus-Bek Evkurov wrote in his blog in the "Live Journal" on October 19.

The leader of Ingushetia has promised that he will assist in adaptation of those persons, who committed crimes, but repented of their deeds.

According to Yunus-Bek Evkurov, any resident of Ingushetia, "even one, who has made a false step and who commits crimes against the nation, is a part of the nation, a resident of the republic, for which I currently have a responsibility as the leader of the republic."

For those persons, who are willing to return to civilian life, the leader of Ingushetia left his mobile phone number 8 (928) 093-29-29, which will run from Monday, October 22.

On September 9, 2011, Yunus-Bek Evkurov, the leader of Ingushetia, signed the decree to establish the Commission to assist in adaptation to civilian life of those persons, who had decided to stop their terrorist and extremist activities in the territory of Ingushetia. According to the Security Council of Ingushetia, during the operation of the Commission, 42 persons were persuaded to voluntary surrender, including 17 members of illegal armed formations (IAFs). One of the accomplices of militants, who appealed to the Commission, was sentenced to a minimum penalty of two years of conditional sentence.

Besides guarantees of objective consideration of case in court, the authorities of Ingushetia also assist in employment. This was reported by statement of the press service of the leader of Ingushetia, received by the "Caucasian Knot".
