MIA Captain wounded in fight with Azerbaijani natives near Moscow

On October 14, in the city of Sergiev Posad, Captain Vyacheslav Khokhlin, 30, from the Sofrino Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Russia was hospitalized after a fight with natives of Azerbaijan, said a police source.

According to the source, the incident happened at a night cafe of Sergiev Posad. During a quarrel with two natives of Azerbaijan, the Captain fired several shots from a traumatic pistol, while the Azerbaijanis knifed him several times.

The MIA Captain was hospitalized; other fighters received traumatic injuries and were helped in the venue, the ITAR-TASS reports, citing a source from law enforcement bodies.

Currently, the fact of fighting and shooting is checked; an opening of a criminal case is considered, the edition "Life News" reports.

According to a source from the district hospital of Sergiev Posad, the condition of Vyacheslav Khokhlin is treated as grave, since his lung was stabbed. Another participant in the conflict, a 50-year-old native of Azerbaijan, received wound of his collarbone, arm and leg. His 25-year-old friend has a through shoulder wound, the "Evening Moscow" reports.
