Court temporarily deprives figurant of incident with shooting at wedding party in Moscow of weapon license

Today, the judge of magistrate precinct No. 369 of the Tver District Court of Moscow deprived Murat Agalarov, a figurant of the incident with shooting at the centre of Moscow during the Dagestani wedding party of September 30, of the weapon license for a term of one year.

On September 30, the police detained 15 persons and 9 cars of the wedding procession of Dagestani natives in Moscow. According to the police, the detention was caused by the fact that the guests opened fire from traumatic weapons. Besides, the police reported that a child was injured as a result of shooting at the Dagestani wedding party in the centre of Moscow.

Let us remind you that on October 1, the magistrate precinct of the Tver Court of Moscow sentenced Murat Agalarov, the guest of the Dagestani wedding party, to 15- day administrative arrest for petty hooliganism and fined him 2000 roubles.

Today, Judge Olga Zatomskaya granted the police's motion to deprive Murat Agalarov of the weapon license.

The defendant himself admitted his guilt at the trial.

His lawyer asked the Court to consider the positive character reference on his client. Murat Agalarov was brought to the Court in handcuffs, since he was serving his administrative sentence for misconduct, in particular, for using foul language. This was explained to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by the defendant's lawyer.

The Court found Murat Agalarov guilty of violating the rules to keep and possess weapons, which was seized by police officers from the car glove box during the completion of the protocol.

The "Caucasian Knot" reported that on October 3, Ali Ilyasov, one more guest of the wedding party, was sentenced to 5-day arrest for his failure to obey to lawful demands of a police officer.

Bridegroom Arthur Alibekov and his father deny that the guests of the wedding party opened fire in the city. Family members and friends of the figurants of the incident claim a pre-planned action against them.
