Two residents of Stavropol region perished as a result of a grenade explosion

Two persons perished as a result of a grenade explosion in the settlement of Kochubeeskoye, Stavropol region, a source in regional law enforcement bodies reported.

The explosion took place in the second floor of a five-storey dwelling house in the district center, in the evening of Sunday, October, 7.

The owner of the flat and her common husband perished as a result of the explosion. They were in the kitchen together with their relatives who came to see them.

According to preliminary data, a hand grenade exploded. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, "Interfax-Yug" news agency reports.
