Law enforcement bodies are investigating an incident with firing and human toll in a market of Krasnodar

Yesterday, October, 7, a conflict occurred in a merchandise market of Krasnodar as a result of which firearms were used. One person was killed and two more got wounded.

According to the investigation's version, the conflict happened between the chairman of one of the ethnic communities of the Russian South and an authoritative family of the same ethnic nationality because of a permission of head of the "oppositional family" to the visitor family to stay in a settlement located near Krasnodar.

On the day of the incident eight members of the "oppositional family" came to the territory of "Merchandise" market with a "Saiga" carbine 7,62 caliber and a sawn-off hunting gun to sort out relations. The women initiated a new quarrel during which the men of the attacking family shot several times at their antagonists killing one and wounding two of them and then escaped.

The killed man aged 43 turned out to be an informal assistant of the chairman of one of the ethnic communities of the Russian South. Besides, the chairman's forty-year-old son and one more man aged 30 got injured in the skirmish, web-site of Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Krasnodar region reports.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact of the incident on indications to crimes stipulated by part 1, clause 105 (murder), part 3, clause 30, point "a", part 2, clause 105 (attempted murder of two or more persons) and part 1, clause 222 (illegal weapon traffic) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The participants of the conflict were representatives of the Gypsy diaspora, RIA "Novosti" referring to sources in law enforcement bodies reports.
