The Georgian students demanded resignation of the Minister of Defense of Georgia

Thousands of students in Tbilisi gathered near the building of the University and moved in the direction of the Ministry of Defense protesting against torture in the prisons. The protesters demanded resignation of the Minister of Defense of Georgia.

The participants of the meeting think that the authorities are going to enact the state of emergency. The students in Tbilisi are planning to hold meeting every day, "Novosti-Georgia" reports.

Mass youth actions of protest are also going on in the towns of Kutaisi and Batumi, ITAR-TASS referring to Georgian mass media reports.
