Action of "Georgian Dream" in Zugdidi brings together thousands of coalition supporters

A pre-election rally of the election bloc "Bidzina Ivanishvili – Georgian Dream" organized in the city of Zugdidi was attended by several thousands of supporters of the bloc from all districts of the region Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti and by activists who came from Tbilisi, Poti, and other cities.

The action in Zugdidi was the last action of the coalition in the regions before the October 1 parliamentary elections. Supporters came to the rally in organized columns from different regions of the country. The column of supporters of the "Georgian Dream" from Tbilisi consisted of 50 cars; about 3000 people came to the action from Poti, the "Georgia Online" reports.

The rally was addressed, apart from the leader of the bloc Bidzina Ivanishvili, by actors, writers and public figures. Ivanishvili introduced Irakli Alasaniya as a candidate of the "Georgian Dream" for a majoritarian candidate, the "Civil.Ge" reports.

The bloc of Ivanishvili plans to finish their campaign on September 29 with a broad-scale action in Freedom Square in Tbilisi, the "Echo of the Caucasus" radio reports.
