Identity of a suicide bomber in Dagestan who exploded herself in the house of sheikh Said Afandi established

A suicide bomber who exploded herself in the house of sheikh Said Afandi in Dagestan was identified as resident of Makhachkala Aminat Saprykina, a source in law enforcement bodies of the republic reported.

8 people perished as a result of the explosion: sheikh Said Afandi, 6 persons who were nearby and the suicide bomber herself.

“Identity of the suicide bomber was established by her head torn off by the explosion. According to preliminary data, it is a resident of Makhachkala, a certain Aminat Saprykina who adopted Islam and was married with a participant of gangster’s underground, a source in law enforcement bodies of Dagestan reported.

According to the source, an operational briefing was distributed on the suicide bomber “for we knew that she was a gunman’s wife and could have been trained as a suicide bomber”, “Interfax” quotes the source.

The position of Aminat Saprykina’s relatives concerning the statements of law enforcement bodies about her involvement in the act of terror is yet unknown.
