Art project "N City" launched in Nalchik

On August 24, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria launched the project to decorate the streets of the city by the artists. According to the organizers of the project, its aim is to attract the interest of city guests and residents to its historical centre, which is hardly visited in recent years.

The team of artists will create art paintings in the places of the old centre of Nalchik, approved by the city administration. Platforms for the discussion of the project were created in social networks "VKontakte" and "Facebook".

The first thing that got under the painters' brushes was the fence at the corner of Kabardinskaya and Nogmova Streets near the former Philharmonic building. The artists prepared paints, made the layout of the future multi-coloured zebra stripes and distributed paintbrushes among people, who gathered in the place, the "Kabardino-Balkaria. Mir i My" (Kabardino-Balkaria, World and We) describes the action.

According to the official website of the Republic's President, the action will take place till August 29.
