Krasnodar Territory holds commemorates victims of July flood
Today, on the 40th day after the tragedy in the city of Krymsk, where the strongest flooding killed people, all Orthodox churches of the Krasnodar Territory hold memorial services.
In the evening, the mourning events are to be continued in Moscow. There, participants of the action "Candle in Hand" intend to gather at 10:00 p.m. Moscow time in front of the Permanent Mission of the Krasnodar Territory in No. 6 in 2nd Cossack Lane Street. It is planned that the participants of the action will bring candles, pay tribute to memory of the victims and express their condolences to families and friends of the victims.
The organizers of the action civil society activists invite volunteers, who personally worked in Krymsk to eliminate the aftermath of the flooding, and all people, who wish to attend the action. The organizers emphasize that the event carries no political purposes. Preparation of the action is being coordinated through social networks, in particular, in the "Facebook" in the group "Candle in Hand."
