Almost 300 residents of Krymsk District, Krasnodar Territory, decide to independently find housing instead of lost one

In the Krymsk District of the Krasnodar Territory, affected by the flooding, 1699 buildings cannot be restored. The regional administration offers the owners of the buildings two options of compensation ready apartments or social welfare payment for the purchase of housing.

According to the operational headquarters for elimination of disaster consequences, as of July 29, 1065 residents of the Krymsk District already decided on their choice of the form of the government support. 768 owners of the destroyed houses preferred to get ready housing, and 297 more owners decided to independently look for new roofs over their heads.

The volume of social payment is calculated by the standard, defined by the federal legislation. For a family of one person, it reaches 33 square meters, if a family consists of two persons, then the standard for each person reaches 21 square meters, and for a family of three or more persons, the social standard reaches 18 meters for each person. The state pays for the purchase of housing at a rate of 33,650 roubles per square meter.

Builders have already completed the first block of one of the houses, which are constructed in Krymsk for victims of the flooding. "This is a room of an apartment in a nine-storey house. The foundations of other three future houses have been already cast," stated a representative of the operational headquarters for elimination of disaster consequences.

The new residential district is located near the village of Moldavanovskoe, in which residents of Krymsk will receive more than 500 apartments from the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The first entries to the MoD's houses are expected next week. At present, the documents are being prepared.

"Some residents are already restoring order in their new apartments, which will legally belong to them in the nearest future," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the representative of the operational headquarters as saying.
