Oleg Shein receives texts of two courts' dismissals of his claims to cancel elections of Astrakhan Mayor
Oleg Shein, the former candidate for the position of Mayor of Astrakhan, received the decisions of the Trusov and Kirov District Courts, pronouncing full dismissal of the claims for cancellation of the election, held on March 4.
"These courts' decisions should be certainly challenged," stated Alexander Nesterenko, the representative of Oleg Shein in the courts. He told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that that upon receipt of the decisions of the courts of the Soviet and Lenin Districts they would prepare a complaint to the higher court.
"At the debate at the session of the Trusov Court, after having studied video records, provided by the Ministry of Communications, I pointed out that the actions of people that we saw on the screen can be described as anything but not as the election process," Alexander Nesterenko stated.
On June 15, the Kirov District Court of Astrakhan dismissed the claim, filed by Oleg Shein to cancel the election outcomes. On June 27, Oleg Shein filed new claims to the courts of the Lenin, Kirov, Soviet and Trusov Districts of the city. On July 19, it became known that all the Districts Courts dismissed the claims.
