Two climbers from Ukraine perish in Georgian mountains

Two Ukrainian mountain climbers Dmitry Voloshin and Alexander Tarenin broke down and died during their descent from Mount Ushba in Georgia, Alexander Dikusarov, the spokesman of the Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), has reported.

Rescuers are now searching for the bodies.

"According to the Embassy of Ukraine to Georgia, on July 17, during a descent of a group of four Ukrainian climbers from Mount Ushba, at an altitude of 3600 meters a cable ruptured, resulting in the deaths of two citizens of Ukraine," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Mr Dikusarov as saying.

Currently, a group of climbers tries to cover the route, where, presumably, the casualties can be, the GHN reports.
