A resident of Dagestan is dissatisfied with the actions of law enforcement bodies on his statement of rape of his daughter

Resident of the settlement of Karabudakhkent, Karabudakhkent district of Dagestan, Magomednabi Nazhmudinov reports inaction of law enforcement bodies in investigation of the case of rape of his underage daughter. Representatives of the investigation report that the question of initiating a criminal case on Nazhmudinov's statement will be taken only after getting the results of forensic medical examination.

One of his daughter's rapists threatens with reprisal, Nazhmudinov states

Magomednabi Nazhmudinov informed that this January a resident of Karabudakhkent who studied at the same school with his sixteen-years-old daughter raped her.

"He told his friends about it after which they raped her, too. Within half a year my daughter was raped by 11 men and I knew nothing about it. My daughter was afraid to tell me because these guys filmed everything on the mobile and blackmailed her in this way. They said they would show it to everybody and place it on the Net if she told her parents. She was afraid and therefore kept silence. At the end of June she broke down and told me everything", Magomednabi Nazhmudinov said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

On June, 26, he submitted a statement to the Department of Interior Affairs of Karabudakhkent district.

"I know that the next day after I submitted the statement the personnel of the Department of Interior Affairs went to detain the persons I mentioned. But I also know that they were interrogated in the Department and released", Magomednabi Nazhmudinov says.

According to him, after the personnel of district Department of Interior Affairs began work on his statement one of the rapists came to his home and started threatening him.

"When he came to me only my wife and children were in. They told me that he threatened and said that if I did not stop he would kill the whole family and set fire to the house. The same day I met him in the street. He got into my car and immediately started beating and choking me, he insulted and threatened me", Magomednabi Nazhmudinov says. According to him, there are eyewitnesses but they do not wish to give evidence.

Nazhmudinov points out that immediate relatives of some of the suspects work in law enforcement bodies and it is just them who obstructs progress in investigation of the case.

For this reason he appealed to republican Public prosecutor's office, Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of the Russian Federation in Dagestan (ID CIR), Department of Federal Security Service and the Public Chamber stating inaction of Kaspiysk Inter-district Investigative Department (IDID) working on the statement of rape of his daughter.

"After I submitted my statement my underage daughter was interrogated on June, 29, in IDID of Kaspiysk without the presence of her legal representatives and all their investigative actions were limited to that. They neither inspected the scene of the accident nor organized an expertise or interrogated the witnesses. During all this time while I was running about with my statement some of the rapists left, one of them even went abroad. The video record of rape disappeared, they are concealing all traces of the crime and the investigative bodies did not even initiate a criminal case", Magomednabi Nazhmudinov declares.

Law enforcement officers are waiting for the results of medical examination

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on June, 27, all the persons whom Nazhmudinov suspects of rape of his daughter were delivered to Karabudakhkent district Department of Interior Affairs. According to law enforcement officers, they were interrogated and released until complete fact-finding.

Representatives of ID CIR in Dagestan reported that all necessary actions for inquiry on this statement were in process, forensic medical examination of the girl was appointed.

"After collection of material is accomplished a legal decision of institution of an action will be taken. In connection with appointment of the petitioner's forensic medical examination the term of inspection was prolonged for more 30 days. The term will come to an end on July, 29", a representative of the investigation said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

The persons Nazhmudinov accused of rape of his underage daughter turned out inaccessible for comment.
