Ruslan Evkurov failed to return money to Dolakovo residents, Ismail Mankiev asserts

Ruslan Evkurov, a distant relative of the leader of Ingushetia, failed to return fraudulently obtained five million roubles to residents of the village of Dolakovo. This was reported by Ismail Mankiev, the deputy of the municipal assembly.

"While the media were highlighting the situation, the fraudster paid his debt to four Dzaurov brothers and Malsagov sisters from the village of Plievo in total, 100,000 roubles. Then we learned it appeared that not only we, but residents of other villages of Ingushetia also suffered from his unlawful acts. However, when the media began to stop highlighting the story, then Ruslan Evkurov ceased to pay his debts. And if earlier we could contact him via mobile phone, at present, he does not respond to our calls," Ismail Mankiev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

On May 16, at the court session of the Magas District Court, chaired by Judge Timur Uzhakhov, Ruslan Evkurov was found guilty and sentenced under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud). The court sentenced him to four years of conditional sentence and obliged him to pay a fine of 500,000 roubles within one month from the date of sentencing.

"Since the period of payment of the fine expired, the victims should file a claim to the Court to oblige Ruslan Evkurov, guilty of fraudulent acts, to pay money to them," the "Caucasian Knot" was told by Timur Uzhakhov.

He has also added that Ruslan Evkurov was sentenced conditionally to be free to be able to pay his debts.

According to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, Ruslan Evkurov himself was unavailable for comments. Earlier, in this March, he stated that he could not find money to return his debt.

"I try to find more or less decently paid job since last summer. However, I did not succeeded in Ingushetia, it is almost impossible to find a job," Ruslan Evkurov said at that time.
