Krymsk: spontaneous rally held near administration building

Today, near the building of the Krymsk city administration, a spontaneous rally of the residents, whose houses were affected by the flooding, was held.

During the spontaneous rally in Krymsk, the citizens demanded that representatives of the authorities should answer their questions about compensation payments.

"The main claim of the audience is an unclear and sophisticated system of compensatory payments, for which people have many questions. There are claims against the performance of the commissions to assess the damage. The local residents are not satisfied with compensations and the lack of coherent information about it and opportunities to obtain new housing. Meeting of citizens was a spontaneous one," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports from Krymsk.

The participants of the rally stated that they could not even get the initial compensation in the amount of 10,000 roubles, promised by local authorities and President Vladimir Putin, the "Radio Freedom" reports.

Nikolai Doluda, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, registered demands of the gathered residents and promised to solve their problems within a short period of time, the "Interfax-Yug" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that, according to the administration of the Krasnodar Territory, the number of destroyed houses in Krymsk, affected by the flooding, reached more than 1370.

At the meeting with the city residents, held on July 8, Alexander Tkachov promised that their houses would be restored at the expense of the authorities within three or four months, pensioners would be offered not to wait for allocation of funds and 27 apartments had already been allocated for that purposes. According to preliminary calculations, about 1300 Krymsk residents lost their houses and need new ones. This was earlier reported by Djambulat Khatuov, Vice Governor of the Krasnodar Territory. Meanwhile, he clarified that people would be able to occupy the existing apartments in two weeks.
