In Makhachkala, relatives of kidnapped Akhmed Salakhudinov intend to block avenue

In Makhachkala, near Akushinsky Avenue, relatives of 27-year Akhmed Salakhudinov gather. According to them, in the morning, Akhmed Salakhudinov was kidnapped by unidentified armed men in masks and camouflage. They intend to block the avenue.

"Our neighbours told us that in the morning, about 10 armed men in camouflage and masks arrived in two cars and broke into the Akhmed's house. They turned everything upside down, and then they severely beat Akhmed and took him away with them," stated Zaur Salakhudinov, a cousin of the kidnapped man.

According to him, at present, about 200 persons have gathered in Akushinsky Avenue, and the elders decide what to do and do not exclude blocking of the avenue.

"We visited all Makhachkala OVDs (Interior Divisions), and everywhere we were told that they did not know anything about the fate of Akhmed. Then, we are going to block the avenue, although we do not know exactly, who kidnapped my brother. Some people believe that power agents are involved in the incident," said Zaur Salakhudinov.

He stated that his cousin was not registered at the police station and that he was a strictly practicing Muslim.
