Baku police disperse unauthorized picket of opposition

On February 11, the Baku police dispersed an unauthorized picket of contributors of the Khurriyet newspaper, a press organ of the opposition Democratic Party

Picketers tried to stage the action in front of the republican prosecutor's office. Police detained 5 of them.

Action participants demanded that the arrested editor-in-chief of the opposition Yeni Musavat newspaper, Rauf Arifoglu, and a contributor of the Baki Khabar newspaper, Sadig Ismailov, be released.
