Bodies of casualties of special operation in Dagestan were given out to relatives against receipt that they have no claims to power agents

In Dagestan, Khaidarbek Magomedgadjiev, a resident of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, has stated that he was given a permit by employees of the Dagestani Investigatory Committee to take the body of his son Abdulaziz Magomedgadjiev, who was killed in a special operation on July 8, from the Makhachkala morgue only against a written certificate that the relatives have no claims against law enforcement bodies. According to the father, the bodies of three other casualties were given out to relatives on the same condition.

On June 8, in Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, 312 km to the northwest of Makhachkala, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced. Supposed militants were blocked in an apartment of a dwelling house. In the course of the operation, six persons were killed. According to the Russia's National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), the casualties were identified as Rustam Gasanov, the leader of the Kizlyar grouping; his wife Djamilya Makagadjieva, who was on the search list; Magomed Abdulmuslimov, a resident of the Zimovniki Distrct of the Rostov Region; Abdulaziz Magomedgadjiev, a native of the Tyumen Region; Nurmagomed Magomedov, a resident of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk. The owner of the apartment – Khaibulla Labazanov, a native and resident of Yuzhno-Sukhokumsk, – was also identified.

"Within a week we claimed to take the body, but they sent us from one person to another. Yesterday we could take the body, but first the Investigatory Committee demanded our written certificate that we have no claims to power agents. We had to do it. Same requirements were presented to the relatives of Magomed Abdulmuslimov, Nurmagomed Magomedov and Khaibulla Labazanov. They also agreed; then, the bodies of the four guys were immediately buried," Khaidarbek Magomedgadjiev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Abdulaziz had no attitude to militants and never held arms in hand. We have a certificate from the MIA of Dagestan, clearly saying that our son was involved in nothing," said the father.

In their turn, the on duty unit of the Investigatory Committee said that they knew nothing about the information reported by Khaidarbek Magomedgadjiev to the "Caucasian Knot".
