Mother of a schoolboy detained by members of the top brass in Ingushetia went on a hunger strike

Members of power ministries in Ingushetia illegally detained Usman Albakov, pupil of school No 5 of the stanitsa of Orjonikidzevskaya, for suspicion of storing ammunition, his mother Yakha Albakova reported. The woman went on a hunger strike on June, 8, demanding from District Department of Interior Affairs to execute the verdict of her son's release.

According to the resident of Ingushetia, on June, 8, Usman Albakov born in 1994 was detained by the personnel of law enforcement bodies during operational search actions in the South-Western suburb of the settlement of Orjonikidzevskaya, Sunzha district of the republic.

The personnel of law enforcement bodies noticed four young men on the right bank of the Sunzha river who attempted to escape, Yakha Albakova said. Ammunition was found on the site of the incident. According to her, the officers stopped a car with Ilez Chaniev, Lechi Gadamauri and Ahmad Bulguchev in the cabin. She said that Usman Albakov who was on the bank of the river not far from the site of the incident was also detained.

She received the news of her son's detention by law enforcement officers rather late, at about midnight.

"My relatives and I searched for him in parks and games collections, asked people passing by but in in vain. On our way back I received a call from some unknown people who told me to go home. There was already an escort at home, a lot of cars and military men. They searched the house where they "naturally found nothing illegal", Yakha Albakova states.

Law enforcement personnel kept Usman Albakov in custody two days and did not let his attorney see him, Yakha Albakova continues. "The first person to see my son in the Investigative committee was a representative of school No 5 of the settlement of Orjonikidzevskaya where Usman studies and then lawyer of the school Bella Mashtagova. They saw a distressing sight but my son did not complain of violence and explained that he had bruises because he stumbled over and fell down", the woman says.

According to her, on June, 8, investigative unit of Department of Interior Affairs in Sunzha district initiated a criminal case according to part 2, clause 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage, transporting, carrying guns or their major parts, ammunition, explosives and explosive devices) against Usman Albakov, Ilez Chaniev, Lechi Gadamauri and Ahmad Bulguchev.

The investigator requested for Usman Albakov's imprisonment as preventive punishment but the court dismissed the motion. However, after the end of the session Usman was not released from custody, his mother states.

"The officers of District Department of Interior Affairs drew up a report stating that when my son was being taken away from the court he insulted and threatened them. A new criminal case was initiated against him. Trial on this case was held on June, 12, where the motion of taking Usman into custody was dismissed again", Yakha Albakova said.

After the end of the trial Usman Albakov, according to his mother, was detained. "In the evening of June, 13, we were handed a new resolution running that the case was referred to the Supreme Court", the woman continued.

According to her information, on June, 15, Public prosecutor's proposal will be considered in the Supreme Court of Dagestan. Public prosecutor demands to repeal the resolution of the court dismissing the motion of taking Usman Albakov into custody.
