Abdulaziz Magomedgadjiev, killed in special operation in Dagestan, was not militant, his father asserts

In Dagestan, Khaidarbek Magomedgadjiev, a resident of the city of Yuzhno-Sukhumsk, stated that his son Abdulaziz Magomedgadjiev, who was killed in the special operation held on June 8, was not involved in the armed underground.

The father of killed Abdulaziz Magomedgadjiev said that his son was 24 years old and that he recently got married and worked part time at a construction site. According to his father, Abdulaziz was not registered at the police station, and the information of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) does not correspond to reality.

"Abdulaziz had nothing in common with militants, and he never held a weapon in his hands. On June 8, he with acquaintances visited his friend Khaibulla Labazanov. What happened later, I learned from the story of Labazanov's neighbours. Suddenly, the house was surrounded by armed power agents, and together with them, infantry combat vehicles with uncovered machine guns arrived. Without warning, they immediately opened fire on the apartment with my son and his unarmed friends. Abdulaziz managed to jump from out from the window; however, he got gunshot wounds to his legs and then he was shot dead from an infantry combat vehicle arrived," said the father of the killed man.

Khaidarbek Magomedgadjiev has stated that till present, the body of his son had not been given out to him. "My son was killed three days ago; during the whole day, the body was in the street. They did not allow anyone to approach the body, and they explained nothing to us, they said that the body would be given out after obtaining permission from Makhachkala; however, the body was not given out to us. On June 10, the body of my son was brought to Makhachkala and placed in a local morgue; they promised to give the body out after the holidays. And I don't know what will happen," says the father of the deceased man.
