Dagestan: Branch Director of "Bronnitsky" Trading House, released from captivity, refuses to testify against kidnappers

Alexander Misrikhanov, Branch Director of the "Bronnitsky" Jewellery Trading House, who was kidnapped on last December 15 in Makhachkala and, according to him, voluntarily released, by kidnappers, declined to give investigators the information about the kidnappers and about the place, where he had been kept.

Let us remind you that Alexander Misrikhanov was kidnapped, when on December 15, 2011, at 7:30 p.m., he left his office near the house No. 41 in Nuradilov Street in Makhachkala. At that time, unidentified persons, presumably on a Lada Priora car of white colour without state registration number plates drove up to him, firing into air. They grabbed Alexander Misrikhanov, forced him into their car and drove away to some unknown destination.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by officials from the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office that the kidnappers had been keeping Alexander Misrikhanov in the place, unrevealed by the investigators, for more than four months, and then, they released him.

"Alexander Misrikhanov was interrogated as a victim, and he testified that he did not know the kidnappers and the motive of his kidnapping. After the kidnapping, the kidnappers released him without any demands. He presents no claims against anyone in regard to his kidnapping, and he asks not to bother him anymore on that question," stated the prosecutors.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the conducted investigatory actions and operational measures failed to reveal persons, who kidnapped Alexander Misrikhanov.
