Let us remind you that on May 17, Irina Brovkina held the picket collecting signatures under demand to dismiss Anatoly Pakhomov. One more picket was held on May 21. The pickets were caused by refusal to sanction a protest in the square in front of the Mayoralty. The activist has stated that she intends to hold single protest actions in the square at the Mayoralty, until she obtains permission to hold a rally for 300 persons.

On May 25, she reported on unlawful interference in her pickets. According to Irina Brovkina, for a week of her single picketing, she collected more than 1000 signatures of Sochi resident for dismissal of the Mayor.

Today, starting from 10 a.m., one more picket was held near the building of the city administration. At 2:00 p.m., the activist was detained, and at 7:00 p.m., she was brought to the judicial precinct No. 100 in No. 14 in Tuapse Street. Irina Brovkina told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about the authorities' provocation committed during her single picket.

According to her, at 2:00 p.m., unidentified citizens, presumably, power agents in civilian clothes and civil servants began to gather in the square in front of the Mayoralty.

They surrounded Irina Brovkina and began to imitate the rally. The woman asked them to leave, explaining that they could leave their signatures and that it was not a rally, but a single picket.

Then, more than a dozen policemen appeared in the square. According to the activist, they took her passport and force her into a police car.

Irina Brovkina was brought to the police station, where the policemen completed a protocol on holding an unsanctioned rally and disobeying law enforcement agents.

At 7:00 p.m. Moscow time, Irina Brovkina reported that she was brought to the judicial precinct No. 100. The judge's secretary clarified that the materials against Irina Brovkina, collected by the policemen, were received from the police. The exact time of the court session to consider the case against Irina Brovkina is unknown.
