Doctors treat condition of Arslan Rizvanov, wounded in Neftekumsk, as extremely grave

At the attempt committed in the city of Neftekumsk on Arslan Rizvanov, the activist of Muslims of the Stavropol Territory got six gunshot wounds. This was reported by the Spokesman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims in the Stavropol Territory. Arslan Rizvanov's health condition remains grave.

Let us remind you that the attempt to Arslan Rizvanov occurred in the evening of May 17. Unidentified attackers ambushed Arslan Rizvanov near his house. When the man stepped out of a car, they shot almost point blank at him from a Makarov pistol and fled in a car. Wounded Rizvanov was found by his neighbours.

The victim, who got six gunshot wounds, including in his head and neck, stays at the city hospital. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by the Spokesman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims in the Stavropol Territory. The Muftiyat has noted that the wounded man was the activist of Muslims of the Stavropol Territory.

Till present, the investigatory authorities do not introduce any official version of the attempt on Arslan Rizvanov.

According to the Spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), the crime may be connected with the murder of Kurman Ismailov, Deputy Mufti of the Stavropol Territory, committed in February. Kurman Ismailov was blown up by unidentified persons in his car.
