Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya gets repayment of salary debts in excess of 53 million roubles

For three months of this year, the Prosecutor's Office of the Chechen Republic revealed - in the course of checks for compliance with the labour legislation of municipal utilities, and entities of construction, educational and medical sphere - about five thousand violations. 32 officials were brought to administrative responsibility. However, at some enterprises of the republic salary debts range from several months to several years.

Salary debts as of January 2012 were revealed in several institutions of the Ministry of Public Health and Ministry of Education of Chechnya. In total, as a result of prosecutors' checks, audits and inspections, it became possible to achieve repayment of salary debts in the amount that exceeds 53 million roubles, a source from the Prosecutor's Office of Chechnya has told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to the source, during the three first months of this year prosecutors brought in 4788 reaction acts. For concealment of the data from the bodies of statistics about available wage arrears and late payment of salary debts, 32 officials were brought to administrative responsibility.

Along with that, the problem of wage payment delays remains still pressing in Chechnya. For example, employees of one of the largest organizations of the republic - "Spetsstroy" - remain without salaries and wages for nine months already. In another construction company - "Chechenstroy" - salaries have not been paid for about three years. However, neither multiple prosecutor's audits nor people's attempts to force their employers to pay salary debts give no practical results.
