Law enforcement officers in Makhachkala are investigating the circumstances of night explosions

According to more precise data, two men got injured in an explosion near a shop in the center of Makhachkala, the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan reports. According to Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia (CIR) in Dagestan, the man whose body was found near the entrance of a dwelling house turned out to be a gunman.

It should be reminded that the explosive device was activated at about 21:20, April, 15, at the of Radishev and Korkmasov streets in the capital of Dagestan, near a men's clothing store. One more explosion happened at 1:30 near the entrance of house No 94, Akushuinsky prospekt. It was initially reported that a woman got injured. An unknown man's scorched body was found at the site of the second explosion.

The home-made explosive device that was activated near "Pаul & Shark" store had 200 gram power trotyl equivalent. As a result of the accident two young women were hospitalized with wounding in their legs, a twenty-four-years-old law student of Dagestani State University and another student of language and literature department aged 18.

The building was slightly damaged. The amount of damage is currently being established. A criminal case according to part 2, clause 167 (deliberate destruction of damage to property) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was initiated on the fact.

The power of the explosion in Akushuinsky prospect, the ground floor of the sixth section of House No 94 made about 400 gram trotyl equivalent. The bomb was stuffed with damage agents in form of small metallic balls. Doors and windows were knocked out in the section and two flights of stairs collapsed as a result.

As a result of the explosion a man born in 1976 who was in the stair-case at the moment died at the moment of hospitalization from missile wounding, a report at the web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Dagestan runs.

According to Investigative Department of CIR in Dagestan, the man was identified as Omargaji Ibragimov, participant of paramilitary groups previously convicted according to clause 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal storage of arms and explosives). A Czech gun "Chezet" was found on him, RIA "Novosti" reports.
