CPRF holds rally "For Fair Elections" in Volgograd

On April 6, in Lenin Square of Volgograd, activists of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) held an action "For Fair Elections". The action was attended by about 150 people.

The participants were holding posters reading: "Falsification of elections means seizure of power" and "Election theft means thieves power". They demanded to stop the practice of frauds and violations at all stages of election campaigns, and to punish those guilty of breaching the electoral legislation, the IA "Vysota-102" reports.

Communists are also concerned about the unresolved problems of housing utility services, the state of education, public health and roads in the region, says the press release published on the website of the regional branch of the CPRF.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of the regional CEC and authorities with respect to the demands announced at the CPRF rally. However, earlier the CEC had rejected accusations of mass violations on the election day.
