"Locomotive" FC: banana was thrown at "Anji" footballer by Dagestani fan

In the course of the investigation of the incident occurred after the match "Locomotive"-"Anji", it was revealed that the banana was thrown to Christopher Samba, the defender of the Makhachkala FC, by a fan of the Dagestani team. This was reported by the security service of the "Locomotive" FC.

The person who threw the banana is still unidentified. However, the security service of the "Locomotive" FC has the information about the description of the offender, the "Sovetsky Sport" (Soviet Sport) reports.

It is assumed that the man, who had thrown the banana, is 20-25 years old, and at the time of throwing the banana he wore a baseball cap on his head. Record from video cameras confirmed that the banana was thrown from the VIP-boxes.

Fifteen minutes before the end of the match, the fan of the guest football team left his sector and went to the West Stand. Entering the sector VIP-1, he waited till the end of the match and threw the banana at Christopher Samba, the "Gazeta.ru" reports.

The "Locomotive" FC treats the action of the fan of the "Anji" FC as a provocation and asks the Russian Football Union (RFU), the Russian Football Premier League and the RFU Committee on Ethics to carefully investigate the incident and punish the guilty persons.

At the same time, the FC emphasizes that fans of the "Locomotive" FC "are among the most intelligent fans in the Premier League, and they have never been seen in the demonstrations of racism", and the team includes football players of different nationalities, and the fans of the FC support them with the same warmth, the "Sport-Express" reports.

German Chistyakov, Vice-President of the "Anji" FC, has stated that the FC may file a complaint to the court, if it does not receive evidence of the involvement of fans of the Makhachkala FC to the incident at the stadium "Locomotive".
