In Dagestan, court returns confiscated books to follower of Turkish theologian Said Nursi

The Federal Court of the Lenin District of the capital of Dagestan has ruled to return to Ziyavdin Dapaev, the follower of Turkish theologian Said Nursi, who earlier was found guilty of organizing an extremist organization, the books confiscated by law enforcement agents. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Ziyavdin Dapaev himself.

"During the hearings on the appeal, the Judge Patimat Dadaeva recognized our demands as reasonable, and soon I will get all my books back," said the follower of Turkish theologian.

The Federal Court of the Lenin District confirmed the return of the confiscated books, except for 17 volumes written by Said Nursi, which in 2007 were ranked as extremist writings.
