Five policemen perished as a result of an act of terror in Dagestan

Five policemen perished and two were gravely wounded as a result of an act of terror in the settlement of Karabudakhkent, Dagestan, a source in laws enforcement bodies of the republic reported. A suicide bomber blasted himself on the post.

“According to more precise preliminary data, the number of policemen lost during the act of terror in the settlement of Karabudakhkent came up to five. Two more persons were gravely wounded, “Interfax” quotes a source in laws enforcement bodies.

A representative of Press Service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs confirmed the fact of a terrorist attack at the police post in the settlement of Karabudakhkent, RIA “Novosti” reports.

“The terrorist did really attack the police post. An inquiry is in process whether it was a woman or a man and if he or she was walking or using a car. There are lost and injured persons as a result of terror, their number is currently being clarified”, the representative of Press Service of the Ministry of Interior Affairs said.
