A peaceful resident of Dagestan killed at the moment of firing at a policeman

A man wounded at the moment of an assault at a district police officer in the town of Kaspiysk, Dagestan, died in hospital.

On March, 6, unidentified persons in Kaspiysk fired upon a police unit as a result of which one policeman perished. A civilian who was in the policeman’s office at the moment of firing got wounded.

According to the information from Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia in Dagestan (ID CIR), the wounded man later died from wounding in the hospital of Kaspiysk, RIA “Novosti” reports.

Two attackers committed the assault at the police unit after they took possession of a taxi threatening the driver with arms.

“The criminals escaped in the same car which they left in the suburbs of the town afterwards. Its driver remained safe”, “Interfax” quotes a representative of ID CIR.
