Over 260 thousand refugees and IDPs registered in Georgia

As of now, 262 thousand refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) are officially registered in Georgia, reported a source at the Ministry for Refugees.

There are 12 thousand IDPs from the zone of the Georgian-Osetian conflict among them and 250 thousand IDPs from Abkhazia. 3 thousand refugees from Chechnya are living in Georgia today too.
