About 180 Uzbek workers in Volgograd region cannot return home

About 180 workers from Uzbekistan in Volgograd region have to spend the winter in tents in an open field being unable to go home because they have not received their salary.

Public prosecutor's office with the participation of experts from regional departments of Federal Migration Service, "Rospotrebnaszor", Chief Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and State Labour Inspection carried out an inspection on the situation. During the inspection it was discovered that the employers violated labour legislation, preventive fire-fighting regulations and sanitary and epidemiological legislation concerning the citizens of Uzbekistan, web-site of Public prosecutor's office of Volgograd region reports.
