Special operation on Ingush-Chechen border was fruitless

Special measures to find members of the illegal armed formations in the Sunzha District of Ingushetia and Chechnya have been completed, and no militants were found.

Let us remind you that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the FSB of Russia in Chechnya and Ingushetia were conducting the joint special operation to find members of the armed underground since January 17.

According to the representative of the FSB in Ingushetia, the special operation was completed this afternoon.

"We have carried out all planned activities, combed the area; however, we have found no traces of the illegal armed formation," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the source as saying.
