In Derbent power agents beat up a local resident, eyewitnesses assert

On January 16 in Derbent, OMON (riot police) agents beat an unknown man, the eyewitnesses of the incident report.

"In the eyes of a dozen of people OMON fighters have savagely beaten a man. What was the reason for the attack of persons in masks (that is, OMON agents), remains a mystery," says a message that arrived today to the SMS-service of the "Caucasian Knot".

The law enforcement bodies of Dagestan do not confirm the information about the incident. The fate of the victim is also unknown.
