The fate of the residents of Nazran kidnapped in December remains unknown

Two young men, Ababukar Yevloev and Isa Bulguchev, disappeared on December, 27, in Magas, Ingushetia. A criminal case according to clause "abduction" was initiated on the fact of their disappearance, however up to date the fate of the missing people is unknown.

Human rights activists emphasize that Head of the republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov put forward an assumption of possible involvement of law enforcement personnel in the abduction while discussing the problem of kidnapping with representatives of non-governmental and human rights organizations on December, 28. Yevkurov then said that he had ordered local members of power ministries not to let any transport out of the republic if there is a suspicion that somebody is being kept in the cabin by force.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Head of the region confirmed the same firm position at a meeting with the management of the republican power-wielding structures on January, 9, 2012. "Not a single vehicle must leave the republic without inspection, no matter what kind of passes its passengers produce. If there is a detained person there this person can be taken out of the republic only when the detention is legal and registered in local departments of the Ministry of Interior Affairs after which the person's relatives are informed about the reason of detention and the place the detained is moved to, then the car with the detainee is escorted by an official of Chief or district Department of Interior Affairs up the frontier guard", Yevkurov declared.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact of Bulguchev a Yevloev's abduction by Nazran Inter-district investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia in the Republic of Ingushetia on December, 29, upon indications to a crime stipulated by points "a" and "zh", part 2, clause 126 (abduction by a group of persons on a previous concert of two or more persons) of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation, web-site of ID CI of the Russian Federation in Ingushetia reports.
