Production of 48 enterprises will be labeled "Made in Northern Caucasus"

Production of 48 enterprises of North-Caucasian Federal Okrug (NCFO) is planned to be promoted at the all-Russian and World market under the brand "Made in Northern Caucasus". 19 out of these enterprises are located in Dagestan.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that the unified brand of NCFO was mentioned in the "Strategy of development of North-Caucasian Federal Okrug in the nearest 15 years". The document runs that the major efforts will be concentrated on tourist industry, agriculture, migration and investment attractiveness of the regions of the okrug.

The fresh issue of informational and analytical journal "Vestnik. Northern Caucasus" published the list of the 48 enterprises integrated by the unified brand "Made in Northern Caucasus". The list includes 19 enterprises in Dagestan, four in Ingushetia, three in Kabardino-Balkaria, five in Karachay-Cherkessia, five in North Ossetia, six in Stavropol region and three in Chechnya.

These enterprises include: State unitary enterprise "Kizlyuar cognac factory", "Derbent cognac complex" public corporation, "Khasavyurt canning factory" (Dagestan), mineral waters factory "Achaluki" (Ingushetia), limited corporation 'Republican agro-industrial enterprise "Caucasian meat"' (Karachay-Cherkessia), "Shvoda" limited corporation (Chechnya), "Argo" group of companies (Kabardino-Balkaria).

Shahmardan Muduev, Head of Production complex of the Ministry of Economy of Dagestan, considers that the "foodstuff produced in the republic meets the main standards of the brand, i.e. it is ecologically safe", RIA "Dagestan" reports.
