A ceremony of opening a cottage community for residents of the landslip zone held in Ingushetia

On January, 11, a new cottage community for resettlement of residents of a landslip zone in Malgobek district was opened in the rural settlement of Nizhniye Achaluki, Ingushetia.

It should be reminded that construction of 58 cottages in a territory of 32 hectares total area for resettlement of residents of a landslip zone in Nizhniye Achaluki, Malgobek district of Ingushetia, started in December, 2010. On December, 23, 2011, the migrants received the keys to their new cottages.

The migrants had chosen the cottages to live in by means of a draw. Among the owners of the new cottages there are representatives of different ethnic groups and confessions: the Russians, the Chechens, the Ingush, the Meskhetian Turks.

On January, 11, Head of the republic Yunus-Bek Yevkurov and Prime Minister Musa Chiliev visited the settlement. They looked over the territory and talked to the owners of the houses, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

In the new settlement Head of the republic held a conference with the participation of Minister of Construction Ruslan Bulguchev, representatives of contracting agencies and Head of Administration of Malgobek district where he set the problem of development of the neighbourhood, building a school, sports and health-improving complex and a kindergarten.

Yevkurov also said that 700 more families were expected to be resettled. Construction of about 100 cottages and several tall buildings is planned.
