Police colonel shot dead in Kabardino-Balkaria; his children wounded

Today in the town of Baksan, Kabardino-Balkaria, unidentified attackers shelled the car with Police Colonel Murat Shkhagumov, the commander of the special fast response detachment, and his children.

As reported by an officer from the Investigatory Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICEF), the incident occurred at 7:45 p.m. in Karachaev Street.

Colonel Shkhagumov died in place from received wounds; his children were injured and hospitalized.
