Prosecutor's Office demands to eliminate violations in Belorechenskaya colony

In the Belorechenskaya juvenile correctional facility, no proper educational and psychological work with convicts is carried out, and that was the main cause of the incident, during which 22 teenagers cut their arms. This was revealed by the inspection of the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory.

Let us remind you that on December 10, 22 underage inmates of the Belorechenskaya juvenile correctional facility cut their arms with razor blades. It was reported that by the act, the convicts tried to get relief of the colony regime.

"It was revealed that, in violation of the Criminal and Executive Code of the Russian Federation, the administration of the Belorechenskaya juvenile correctional facility still arranged no proper control over convicts' compliance with the regime requirements and no proper educational, preventive and psychological work with convicts, and that was the main reason for the incident," reports the official website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Krasnodar Territory.

The inspection addressed the resolution to eliminate detected violations of the law to the head of the Department of the Russian Federal Correction Service (known as FSIN) in the Krasnodar Territory.

Besides, the inspection raised the issue of bringing the officials of the juvenile correctional facility and regional Department of the FSIN to disciplinary responsibility, the portal "Yuga.ru" reports.
