The Embassy of Turkey in Russia did not confirm the information of non-payment of wages to the workers of Turkish construction company "Bora Inshaat". According to the Embassy, its representatives are in Grozny at the moment.

It should be reminded that a reader contacted the "Caucasian Knot" editorial board in the beginning of December and wrote about a problem 1500 workers of Turkish company "Bora Inshaat" encountered. According to the constructors, they received no salary for the last three months and the manager escaped to Turkey.

To clarify the situation the "Caucasian Knot" editorial board directed a query to the Embassy of the Turkish Republic in Russia. The Embassy's official reply runs that companies "Penta" and "Bora Inshaat" do carry out contract works in Chechnya, however the Embassy does not confirm the problems reported by the workers of the latter.

"The above mentioned firms are companies carrying out commercial activities. Therefore we consider it reasonable to establish direct contacts with the respective companies in order to talk on commercial problems", the Embassy writes.

It is also mentioned in the official reply that for the purpose of rendering the necessary support to Turkish workers officials of Consular section of the Embassy are currently in Grozny.
