The main version of murder of the officer of Committee of Inquiry in Dagestan is his professional activities

The investigators consider the officer's professional activities as the main version of murder of Arsen Gajibekov acting as Head of Investigative Department (ID) of Committee of Inquiry of Russia (CIR) in Makhachkala district of Dagestan.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that this night the regional officer of ID CIR was killed in the town of Kaspiysk. The accident took place at about 00:40 Moscow time. Unidentified people from a "Lada Priora" car fired upon the car the officer was getting out of at the moment. The man died from the wounding.

According to more precise data, at night of Wednesday, December, 14, unidentified people near house No 10, Chaussee Airport street of Kaspiysk shot down Arsen Gajibekov born in 1966 acting as Head of Investigative Department of Committee of Inquiry of Russia in Makhachkala district of Dagestan.

Criminal proceedings were started on Gajibekov's murder. According to an official representative of ID CIR in the republic, the case was initiated according to clause 295 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("attempt at a person conducting preliminary inquiry) and clause 222 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation ("illegal trafficking of firearms").

According to the source, the main version of the crime is Gajibekov's professional activities, RIA "Novosti" reports. Cartridge cases and bullets caliber 7,62 mm were impounded from the site, "Interfax-Yug" reports.

It should be also reminded that an officer of law enforcement bodies, one more policeman and four civilians got wounded during firing at a flying squad on December, 8, in the highway "Settlement of Komsomolsky - Kizlyar".
