"Left Front": four people detained at a meeting on December, 10, in Rostov arrested for terms of two to ten days

Four persons detained at a meeting against forging the election of State Duma in Rostov-on-Don were sentenced by the magistrate's court to two, five and ten days of administrative arrest, 7 or 8 more were fined, coordinator of "Left Front" in Rostov region Vladislav Ryasantsev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"We received the information that on December, 11, the magistrate convicted some participants of a peaceful meeting in Gagarin square against forgery at the election. In particular, Boris Skrypnik got 10 days of administrative arrest, Konstantin Shukin 5 days of arrest, Soldatov and Deordiev 2 days of arrest each. They were most probably convicted according to clause 20.1 of Code of administrative violations (disorderly conduct). The rest of the participants, about 8 persons, were fined to sums 500 to 1000 rubles", Ryasantsev said.

We will remind that two meetings passed off in Rostov region. The first one was held in Teatralnaya square, about 200 people took part in it. The action of protest started at 11:00. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was broadcasting online from Rostov-on-Don.

The second action of those dissentient with the totals of the parliamentary election was held in Gagarin square, 100 to 150 students gathered there. According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, only about ten persons detained at the unauthorized meeting in Rostov-on-Don out of all those who participated in mass actions in Southern Federal Orkug were taken to the police department.

Vladislav Ryasantsev said that he himself was released from a special isolation ward of the Department of Interior Affairs after 5 days of arrest. "I was arrested on December, 6, during an action with the demand to repeal the totals of the false election of December, 4, in Sovietov square", Vladislav Ryasantsev says.

"Beside the fact that I and other participants were detained at a non-partisan action in form of a flash-mob, there is a record in the order of arrest that on December, 6, I "was hindering cleaning the territory and blocking the passage of a communal services car" after which I "ignored the policemen's demands and snatched them by their uniforms". However, it can be clearly seen in the photo that I was lying on the ground and someone was holding my hands", Vladislav Ryasantsev declared adding that he went on a dry hunger strike as a sign of protest against police and juridical arbitrary rule.

"Several times they asked me to stop the hunger strike in the special isolation ward but I did not surrender until the ambulance was called to me on the second day. I had a low blood pressure and had to stop the strike", Ryasantsev said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has yet no official corroboration or comments from the authorities concerning the information reported by coordinator of "Left Front" in Rostov region.
