Representatives of LDPR and KPRF report mass ballot-stuffing at the election in Krasnodar

On the day of election of deputies of State Duma of the Russian Federation in Krasnodar in process of counting of votes in the polling station No 22-47 representatives of LDPR and KPRF parties discovered stuffing packs of ballot papers with votes for "United Russia". Investigative bodies are carrying out inquiry on the incident.

The violation was registered in a polling station located in the building of school No 18. Members of the divisional election committee and observers from KPRF and LDPR found several packs of identically filled in ballot papers. According to them, in all the papers there were votes for "United Russia".

Photos and videos of these ballot papers were taken.

At the insistence of representatives of LDPR and KPRF personnel of law enforcement bodies and representatives of territorial election committee (TEC) were called to the polling station.

Member of Prikubanskaya TEC of Krasnodar Ivan Mikhailenko declared that the committee should go on with counting of votes and the representatives of the parties in case of dissatisfaction had a right to submit respective complaints and statements.

Nicolay Kharitonov, deputy of State Duma and leader of the list of candidates from KPRF in Krasnodar region who was at the polling station at the moment demanding to stop counting and draw up a protocol of violation "protected" integrity of the discovered ballot-stuffing by his parliamentary immunity: he did not let the members of the committee touch the packs of ballot papers screening them with his hands and declaring his parliamentary immunity.

Nevertheless, the divisional election committee by a majority vote decided to go on counting. The ballot papers from the discovered packs were counted separately and placed on record.

Press service of the regional branch of LDPR informed the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that representatives of the party together with the communists had already submitted a statement on the fact of forgery to law enforcement bodies.

Investigative services are currently carrying out at inspection on the incident. Leaders of LDPR and KPRF Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Gennagy Ziuganov took over the control of investigation of violations in Krasnodar.

Regional Election Committee has provided no comments on the incident in the polling station No 22-47 of Krasnodar yet. A representative of Press service of Krasnodar regional Election Committee told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the information on the violations available would be made public only in the afternoon of December, 6.
